The food is excellent! My favourite is the cheese room - such an excellent selection. Impeccable service - great wine recommendation. Ashima in particular was so friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going back!

Went to lunch here with a friend on recommendation about the food and was more than surprised. The food is fantastic and I was shown some really good wine. special mention to the staff for being so attentive and friendly. I recommend the sharing board, great place to go with friends. Will be back to try out the cheese room.

A very good lunch! Lingered much longer than initially planned. Katia the waitress was a great host and very knowledgeable about cheeses, helped us choose from their amazing selection housed in a special cheese room. Will definitely be back.

This South African restaurant offers a refined yet welcoming dining experience. Our group of 15 dined in one of their private spaces, which made for a seamless and intimate gathering. Service was a standout, thanks to Kyle, our server, who was both attentive and impressively knowledgeable. He guided us through the premium South African wine selection, sharing fascinating insights on South Africa’s winemaking heritage, and even the history of British Champagne. This was my first time dining and the menu delivered across the board, but the fish and creamed spinach were particular highlights—well-executed, flavorful, and worth ordering again. The Chenin Blanc was also a real standout, easily among the best white wines I’ve had so had to take a picture. For those looking to explore South African cuisine with expertly curated wines, this is a solid choice in the heart of London.

Had an amazing experience at Vivat Bacchus in Farringdon with my girlfriend. The steak was hands down the best we’ve ever had cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Vlad, our server, recommended an excellent wine that paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. He had an excellent knowledge of the menu, made thoughtful recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect throughout the meal. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail truly elevated our dining experience. I’ll be visiting again soon and would love to request George as our waiter if possible. His exceptional service made a lasting impression, and I would love to enjoy another evening with his impeccable hospitality.
